Contracts

Contracts let you formalize agreements with customers. LawnLedger supports contract templates, electronic signatures, and bulk sending for seasonal or annual service agreements.

Creating a Contract

  1. Navigate to Contracts in the sidebar
  2. Click New Contract
  3. Select the Customer and Property
  4. Choose a Contract Template or start from scratch
  5. Set the Start Date, End Date, and billing terms
  6. Add services and pricing details
  7. Include any terms and conditions
  8. Click Save

Contract Templates

Templates save time when you send similar contracts to multiple customers:

  1. Navigate to Templates in the sidebar
  2. Click New Template and select the Contract type
  3. Use the template builder to define:
    • Header and footer content
    • Standard services and pricing
    • Terms and conditions
    • Signature blocks
  4. Save the template for reuse

Templates support variables like customer name, property address, and dates that auto-fill when creating a contract.

Sending for Signature

  1. Open a contract and click Send for Signature
  2. The customer receives an email with a secure signing link
  3. They review the contract terms and sign electronically
  4. You receive a notification when the contract is signed
  5. Both parties get a signed copy via email

  1. Navigate to Contracts > Bulk Send
  2. Select a contract template
