Account & Setup

How do I reset my password?

  1. Go to the login page
  2. Click Forgot Password
  3. Enter your email address
  4. Check your email for a reset link
  5. Click the link and set a new password

Can I change my company name?

Yes. Navigate to Settings > Company Information and update the company name field. The change takes effect immediately on all new documents.

Navigate to Settings > Company Information and click the logo area. You can upload an image or drag and drop a file. Supported formats are PNG and JPEG.

Is my data secure?

Yes. LawnLedger uses industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (TLS), secure session management, and data isolation between organizations. All data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Supabase with regular backups.

Billing & Payments

How do I upgrade my plan?

Navigate to Settings > Billing and click Change Plan. Select your new plan and confirm. Plan changes take effect immediately with prorated billing.

Can my customers pay invoices online?

Yes, if you have connected Stripe. Customers receive a payment link in their invoice email and can pay by credit card on a secure Stripe-hosted page.

What payment methods does Stripe support?

Stripe accepts all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover). Additional payment methods may be available depending on your Stripe configuration.

Features

Can I send contracts to multiple customers at once?

Yes. Use the Bulk Send feature under Contracts. Select a template, choose your customers, and send all contracts in one batch.

How does QuickBooks sync work?

After connecting QuickBooks under Settings > Integrations, customers and invoices sync automatically. Payments recorded in either system update both. You map your LawnLedger services to QuickBooks items during setup.

Can I track time from my phone?

Yes. The LawnLedger mobile crew app supports clocking in and out with GPS verification. Download the app and log in with your team credentials.

How do winter routes work?

Navigate to Winter Routes in the sidebar. Create routes by adding customer properties in service order. During snow events, crews follow the route in the mobile app and mark each property as completed.

Can customers submit service requests?

Yes. Customers with portal access can submit service requests. Requests appear on your Service Requests page and can be converted into scheduled jobs.

Technical

What browsers are supported?

LawnLedger works in all modern browsers: Chrome (recommended), Firefox, Edge, and Safari. The app is also available as a Progressive Web App (PWA) for desktop and mobile.

Is there an API?

Yes. LawnLedger provides a REST API for integrations. See the API Reference for documentation and curl examples.

Can I export my data?

Yes. Most data can be exported to CSV from the relevant section of the app. For bulk exports, use the export features in Settings.
