Reports

LawnLedger provides comprehensive reporting to help you understand your business performance. Access reports from the Reports page in the sidebar.

Available Reports

Revenue Reports

  • Revenue Summary — Total revenue by time period (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual)
  • Revenue by Customer — Which customers generate the most revenue
  • Revenue by Service — Which services are most popular and profitable
  • Accounts Receivable — Outstanding invoice balances and aging

Expense Reports

  • Expense Summary — Total expenses by category and time period
  • Budget vs. Actual — Compare planned budgets against actual spending
  • Expense by Job — Direct costs associated with specific jobs

Job Reports

  • Job Summary — Total jobs by status, type, and time period
  • Crew Productivity — Jobs completed per crew member
  • Job Profitability — Revenue minus costs for each job

Customer Reports

  • Customer Activity — Recent activity and engagement per customer
  • Customer Retention — Returning vs. new customer metrics
  • Customer Revenue — Lifetime value and revenue trends

Most reports support date range filtering and can be exported to CSV for use in spreadsheets or accounting software.

Scheduled Reports

Automate report delivery:

  1. Navigate to Reports
  2. Select a report and configure the date range and filters
  3. Click Schedule to set up automatic delivery
  4. Choose the frequency (daily, weekly, monthly)
  5. Enter the email addresses to receive the report
  6. The report is generated and emailed on schedule

Dashboard

The Dashboard (home page) provides a real-time overview:

  • Revenue — Current month’s revenue vs. previous month
  • Outstanding Invoices — Total unpaid invoice amount
  • Jobs Today — Number of jobs scheduled for today
  • Recent Activity — Latest actions across the system
  • Charts — Visual breakdowns of revenue, jobs, and more

Dashboard data refreshes automatically. Click any dashboard card to drill down into the detailed report.

Crew Analytics

Advanced crew performance metrics (available on select plans):

  • Revenue generated per crew member
  • Average job completion time
  • On-time arrival rates
  • Customer satisfaction scores
